What parents are saying…

“My middle school daughter and 10 year old son both LOVED Westmont Basketball Camp...and my children aren't easy to please! They loved the energy of the high school coaches and learned so much about the sport while having a TON of fun. Additionally, they both reported that they feel better prepared for their upcoming basketball seasons. We'll be back next year - the kids have already asked to sign up for multiple weeks!” - DeeDee Beckstrom

“My son had a great time at Westmont Basketball Camp! Even though this was his first summer joining the camp, the coaches and camp participants were welcoming and encouraging. Each day the camp focuses on specific elements of the game. As a parent, I appreciated watching the scrimmages and listening to the coaches 'camper of the day' talk. All of the coaches demonstrated their enthusiasm and love of basketball which was contagious. They were clear with their instruction and consistently positive towards every camper AND their parents! I am definitely registering my son for camp next year.” - Kim Hunter

“Our son has done this camp two years in a row. They actually coach the kids as they practice skills through drills and games. It’s not just babysitting or entertainment like many camps. The coach to child ratio is really small so they get a lot of help. My son came back with more skills and more confidence. This is one of my son’s favorite camps and we will keep returning!” - Angela Krumm-Ng

“Our son had an absolute blast at Westmont Basketball Camp. He loved the focus on a different aspect on the different days of the week. He was especially motivated to be the camper of the day on ‘Defensive Thursdays.’ When you can get kids motivated like this, you are doing something right! He also said his shooting confidence increased significantly because of the camp. We strongly recommend this camp for the fun atmosphere and great coaching.” - J. Manjunathaiah

“We are happy repeat customers at Westmont Basketball Camp. We have two boys, ages 8 and 12, and they couldn't wait to get there early each day to shoot around, which is saying a lot for a morning camp! What really makes the camp is the professionalism of those leading it, starting with Coach Naas. To be clear, this is not glorified babysitting like some summer camps are. Coach Naas makes it fun and meaningful with clearly stated themes and focus points each day. All of the coaches, including the high school players, make it a very positive experience, no matter the skill level of the kid. You know it's a good camp when the kids come home talking about all the things they did! This camp has my stamp of approval and then some.” - Kerry Schutz

  • Westmont Basketball Players

Every summer, we have current and former Westmont basketball players coach at the camp. This makes for a unique and powerful learning experience.

For our Westmont players, it’s an opportunity to develop their leadership skills and to give back to the youth in their community. For our campers, it’s a chance to learn from high school and college players they look up to.

We love hearing from parents every summer about how much their kids enjoyed learning from such positive role models!
